Sydney Butler was born and raised in Ellicott City, Maryland. Since childhood Sydney has enjoyed being around babies and supporting families. She has over 6 years of experience as a Nanny and 2 years as a Labor Doula. While cheering competitively for 7 years Sydney also served as a mentor to the younger cheer leaders.
As a certified Labor and Postpartum Doula through Madriella, Sydney understands the need for support during life changing events such as birth and adjusting to life with a baby. Sydney's ultimate goal is to take this type of support to Africa, especially in Liberia where she has roots. She hopes to aid in the building of orphanages and birthing centers.
When Sydney isn’t attending a birth she is active in her church and enjoys serving in the churches nursery. Sydney also enjoys baking and trying new recipes in the kitchen. Her favorite time of the year is the summer for endless shopping and beach activities.
